Financial Aid

Mercyhurst North East is committed to keeping the cost of an education as low as possible and making that education accessible to every individual accepted at the college.

Eighty-nine percent of our students receive some type of financial assistance - either through aid available at the college or through federal and state monies.

Financial Aid checklist:

1. File the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) form by completing the paper application or the online version at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Answer all of the questions; do not leave any questions blank. The Federal School Code (the FAFSA will ask for this on Question 86) for Mercyhurst is 003297.
2. If you plan on taking out Stafford Loans, you must also complete the following two documents:
   1. Master Promissory Note
   2. Entrance Interview Form
