Fire Academy
The Fire Training Academy provides firefighters hands-on training in rescue procedures, emergency procedures, and chemical safety. Training is held at various locations around in the area, including the Erie County Public Safety Training Facility, which features a burn tower, smoke maze, and chemical burn pit.
Firefighters can earn Firefighter I and II certifications through the Public Safety Institute's programs.
