Fire Service Certification Program

The purpose of this program is to identify and recognize emergency service personnel whose accomplishments in training and education meet or exceed nationally recognized standards. The NFPA standards for Fire Service Professional Qualifications identify the minimum requirements for a person at a particular level of progression. The program includes recognition of participating departments that support, promote and encourage their emergency response personnel to voluntarily certify.

Hazmat Awareness
Hazmat Operations
Fire Science Instructor I

Local Level Training Program

This type of training continues to strive toward increasing the effectiveness of the local fire fighter by centering training on local needs and using local equipment and apparatus. Courses may be scheduled on an "as needed, where needed" basis.
